Project origins

DataTrail was originally formed as Chromebook Data Science, and then Cloud Based Data Science, by Shannon Ellis, Aboozar Hadavand, and Jeff Leek in the Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Shannon, Aboozar, and Jeff were driven to create a curriculum and supporting training program that would allow members of underserved communities to enter the field of data science.
